Accountability
I think the attribute accountability means to be responsible towards something and to try to do it at the best of your ability.

I think this quote means at some point you will get older and will have more responsibilites or more things to be accounted for.
For example like when you get married and have a family for are accounted for to go to work to be able to pay bills put food on the table and take care of your family but when you're a kid you're not responsible for that your parents are.
